Hi Rick,

When your top super or brood box is three quarters full of brood and
honey, etc. Place a super on the top of this hive, with an excluder to just
store honey. However to make the bees stay in this new super, place two
frames of hatching brood with no uncupped larvae, and the bees will move up
into the new super.

This is the simplist method, and keeps the brood out of the honey,
ready for extraction.
