I hope that I can help with some of the problems that I have seen will monitoring the activity on the LactNet Digest. Carlos Gonzalez sent an e-mail which included the winmail.dat binary file in his email. This can be corrected if you type in the TO: address by hand in which case Microsoft Exchange will remove the rich text which is causing the problem. If the address is coming from the personal address book then make sure the "Always send to this recipient in Microsoft rich text format" is not checked. The second problem is one I have had and that is one of getting and equal sign at the end of each line. Under the Tools-services-(which ever mail your using MS Mail or Internet Mail) change the message format to not use MIME when sending to non-exchange users. If you have Internet Mail installed then you can leave this option of all of the time since almost everyone will not be using Microsoft Exchange. Certainly not the LactNet ListServer. As for the email from Ray Leivo concerning not getting attachments with Eudora Pro, this should not have change, there are other nice features which you gained including MAPI compatability. I don't if "DA))43PO]RCP*0%' attachments" was actual data or the same as blankity blankity attachments. In either case the problem is incompatability between e-mail systems. I would suggest that you e-mail me directly but others may want to know the answers too. Just a reminder from LactNet, they do not want you to enclose the text of the digest for which you are replying. If you have this text set on because you normally want this to happen, then highlight the text in the body of the response and hit the delete key to remove it. Your email software usual has an option to remove this if you do not want to do it normally. Most of these answers can from "MIcrosoft Exchange FAQ" on the internet. I am not an expert at this but have learned a great deal in enhancing the digest reader I have written. Although I find the digest very interesting, I normally just lurk.
