Hi Dany, Although I'm open to correction on this topic a la the green colostrum, the other issue is the Strep B. My 18 day old nephew died of Strep B infection. To deprive a Strep B baby of his mother's colostrum antibodies, simply because of the color of the milk is criminal. If they are all that worried, why not do a stat culture? The problem here is, as I understand it, that the baby was already exposed to the Strep via the birth (or possibly when the water broke). Therefore, he needs *any color* colostrum that his mother makes. I'm so tired of the constant assumption that breastmilk is guilty until proven innocent. Nancy
