Request for Information Draft 1996 Directory of Archaeological Societies and Journals Well, it is that time of year again and I must be feeling overly masochistic because I am going to try it two years in a row. I am sending this request to Arch-L, Histarch, and Artifact. Feel free to distribute it more widely. I intend to update my 1995 electronic edition of the Directory of Archaeological Societies and Journals. It will retain the same organization as last year. Composed of five sections: National (U.S.)/International, Regional, State, other Journals and Newsletters, and Canada. Please check out the 1995 version to see if your group is listed and if all of the information is correct. It is currently available in the retrievable files of the Arch-L list. If you don't know how to get it you can try the slower route and send me an e-mail request. The directory will be available free for posting to web sites and home pages. I intend to have it completed and distributed to interested parties by the first of June. I am attaching the entry for the Society for American Archaeology as an example of the type of information that I am looking for.
