We excavated an area in Guanajuato that was a dump for the fort's physician.
We were finding human hands, feet, and legs and couldn't figure out what was
going on. Then we began to find maiolica drug jars and scalpels, and realized
that we were in a part of the moat where the doctor was throwing the body
parts after amputating them.
 
 
Pat, you could send the chemical abbreviations along to the list. I have
access to several older medical dictionaries and other sources that may be
helpful.
