Dr. McKenna is the Senior Researcher in the Departments of Neurology and Psychiatry at the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine. He is internationally known for studies of child care practices and SIDS. His research focus redefines what constitutes "normal" infant sleep and the importance of infant/parent co-sleeping.
