What a great story, Kathleen A. about your book and your son's reaction. My
sons, 13 and 16, are currently quite embarrassed about what I do for a
living, and have often asked if I'm ever going to get a "normal" job. I hope
this will change as they get older. They don't groan quite as loudly now
about the topic although my younger son can do a wicked parody of me asking
mothers about the baby's BMs. He heard me doing enough phone counselling
when he was educated at home to do a good job of it if ever he's inclined!
