Hi Diane:

I've told people for years that I long for the day when you can buy a doll
who comes with a breast. The toddlers/preschoolers who have had the joy of
finding my cloth teaching breast have loved it and known exactly what to do
with it --the younger ones "try it" first and when they decide it's empty,
they always try to put it in their dolls' mouths.

We probably won't live to see that doll in the stores, but I'd be almost as
happy just to see the *absence* of the rubber stuff! --Nancy

P.S. Had a conversation with a woman today who said, "I don't think it's up
to the mothers to fix this country's ideas about breastfeeding". To which I
asked, "Well, who do you think *will* do that? She acknowledge the sad point
that there probably won't be anyone else.
