Tongue rolling, the ability to form your tongue into a tube by rolling up the sides, is an autosomal dominant trait. If you can't do it, it means you have two genes for non-rolling (like me). I have no idea if this is related to being able to tie a cherry stem in a knot! Kathy Dettwyler
