I'd back off the solids and try the remedies for nursing the baby in a
distractable phase:  lights low, no noise, alone with baby, mom relaxed and
comfortable (not in a hurry), etc., and also concentrate on sleepy times
(just before and after naps) and bathtimes (in the tub itself, but have a
lifeguard if mom is sleepy).

The solids are not as nutritious as breastmilk.  If they are displacing
breastmilk, they are occupying an inappropriate place in the baby's diet.
