Hi Judy K., I wasn't sure if I should respond to you but every time I'm afraid I'm way to radical for lactnet but post anyways I get lots of supportive responses, so here I go again. A mom who refuses to have her baby innoculated may have very sound reasons, such as afamily history of severee reactions to vaccinations, including permenant damage or even death. In this case there is strong evidence that this baby is more likely to be harmed by them than helped. Vaccinations are another experiment, and the edence is not all in but it's possible that they cause permenant immune system damage. It also seems likely that the damage that they cause is underreported, as is the occurance of diseases in children who have supposedly been immunized against them. This may be because doctors don't expect children to be sick with something they have been vaccinated against and because they're not experienced in diagnosing these illnesses. Mothering magazine has had some excellent articles suggesting that parents have excellent reasons not to vaccinate. They also have a publication on vaccinations. Again I welcome your responses privately or on lactnet. Blessings, Julie Brill CCE [log in to unmask]
