Hi all, I just wanted to thank all of you who were so supportive of my concerns and needs with the new job. Other things keep cropping up with this nurse, BUT the great news is that all of the *good guys* are being very supportive of ME. It seems this lady is somewhat into control and it is well known at the hospital. For a bit of background info: I am not the first LC - there have been 2 others before me, but I am the first non-nurse LC. Also, the lady in question does have an advanced degree. Today, many things occured that showed me loud and clear that all the others who count are wonderful people who I know will continue to be there for me. And forgive me for this secret code, but one great lady is on Lactnet with us and I want to just tell her here, how grateful I am for all her help and support while I bumble around learning this new job. I JUST KNOW I'M GONNA BE OK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks again and all the best, Yaffa \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ Yaffa Stark, MA, IBCLC Los Angeles, Calif., USA "We must identify and reduce barriers which keep women from beginning or continuing to breastfeed their infants."
