You may find it more satisfactory to buy the books and give them to
a local library.
       The downside of having an association library is not losing the
books, but the frustration created among members because people have the
books and do not return them or, worse, people are suspected of having
books and not returning them.  Books disappear and can be replaced most of
the time.  Bad feelings among members linger.
       Ah, such cynicism!
