I just surfed over to the Champaign-Urbana LLL HomePage and one of their "hyper-links" was to information about another list concerned with EXTENDED breastfeeding. Maybe this has already been discussed on LactNet, but I was so excited to find it, I just had to share. The description reads: Extended Breastfeeding is a forum for discussing issues related to breastfeeding and parenting the nursing baby and child. The topics for discussion vary widely and include subjects related to life with a nursing toddler or baby, nursing during pregnancy, tandem nursing, societal attitudes toward breastfeeding, weaning, and any other related topics. You can subscribe by sending a message to: [log in to unmask] Just like when you signed up for LactNet, in the body of the message type: subscribe Parent-L your name. You can also get digest format (all the messages sent once a day, 20-40 a day) by sending another message saying: set Parent-L mail digest The list is maintained by Lois Patterson at: [log in to unmask] Perhaps this would be a good list for finding out info on nursing during pregnancy. I'm not sure if this list is for professionals, lc, etc., or just a group of moms. Guess most moms don't have access to these lists, though.
