I don't know if this will help, but..... I had a mother who also had a recurrent white dot on her nipple. She also often got red and streaky on that quadrant, and had mastitis a couple of times. We did a combination of things,including having her nurse the baby on the floor with her on "all fours" once a day, and also taking care to nurse the baby a few times with the chin pointing to that quadrant for better drainage. This reduced the frequency but didn't eliminate the problem. Her white duct was more like a blister, and repeated problems had created a small crater. After some research, I had her add a neosporin ointment treatment in a sparing amount after feeds, and finally she cleared up after one more flare-up. Evidently a secondary infection had been preventing healing despite otherwise good management.
