In my practice, I carry both hospital grade and down-sized pumps, but do
not charge differently for them. I feel comfortable absorbing the
difference in lease fees in order NOT to be the slightly influenced to give
out the smaller pump when the larger one may be more appropriate.

It would be helpful if the proprietary companies did not charge more, but
they have to worry less about patient concerns than persons dealing with
those patients. Perhaps if the persons leasing the pumps rose up in unison
and COMPLAINED LOUDLYd they would change their position on this.

Anybody willing to do so?
