Historic St. Mary's City seeks applicants for assistance in completing a Phase I Archaeological Survey on parts of the property of St. Mary's College of Maryland. The effort will be performed under the direction of the Research Department of Historic St. Mary's City, the agency responsible for archaeological excavations within the site of Maryland's 17th century capital. One site supervisor is needed who will conduct the field work, oversee the laboratory processing, and write the final report. The individual must have previous supervisory experience, a solid knowledge of field archaeology, and a proven ability to carry reports to completion. Additionally, several crew level assistants are needed. The work is scheduled to begin in mid-June 1995 and be completed in March 1996.
