It(beeswax) is also used as an adhesive and floatant in dubbing fishing flies,
most notably nymph bodies. It is used still to waterproof the percussion caps
on muzzleloading rifles. Its used to lubricate the strings on bows, and I'm
pretty certain it is still used in the formulation of suppositories, because of
its melting temp. Did anyone mention candles? Regards,
