Historical archaeology is a relatively new discipline here in the United
States. Could some of our Australian members speak to its place and
development in their country? Is it being taught in the universities? What
kind of regard are historical archaeologists held in there? Or in Canada, for
that matter?
And where does industrial archaeology fit? Is it a part of historical
archaeology, or should it be regarded as a separate field? (Obviously, the
Library of Congress thinks so. Its classification puts it in the sciences,
rather than the social sciences.)
Hello, is anyone out there?...Is this mike on?......
