Since Lycopodium spores are under discussion so much recently,
it seems worth pointing out that another potential
source of this material might be your local pharmacy. The
spores are often used to lubricate "dry" condoms during
the manufacturing process.  Concerned about the potential
allergenic potential, though, a number of manufacturers
have switched to non-botanical lubricants.  Ansell
us one of them.
 
There was a paper in Economic Botany about this, probably in
mid-1989.
