Just read the article about using the condom for dimpled nipples. Interesting. I would caution about using the end of the condom on the base of the nipple DURING breastfeeding due to possible ingestion by the baby. I still have a vivid memory that happened over 30 years ago during a consult of a baby who ingested the paper tape securing the tube of a tube feeding device. Luckily, with a finger swipe I removed it out of the baby’s mouth. Thereafter, I began adhering the tube with a very large vertical piece of tape away from the areola.
