It is a rough order of magnitude becasue it assumes a lot including equal distribution for the alcohol wash and 100% drop and capture from an OAV treatment. The key is that the sight of a large mite drop from an OAV treatment has to be put into the perspective of what you would get from an alcohol wash, which is what most use as the treat/can wait standard for mite treatment.
