Thanks for the correction on the OA vaporizer - I was getting a translation
from Russian to Romanian to English, so ',amy a slip between cup and
lip'...... These beekeepers buy OA in 9 gram tablets which can be broken
into 3 gram sections and placed in the vaporizer. They are adamant about
the temperature control being precise. I have seen several using old
Russian army surplus gas masks - full face coverage - for protection, which
makes for an interesting fashion statement, but they seem satisfied with
the protection.

They are still using fluvalenate here and claim it is effective - yesterday
I talked to a large beekeeper who is burning fluvalenate/amitraz strips in
his hive entrance to smoke the bees, with what he claims are good results.
We got zero mites on 3 alcohol washes so something is working.
