Re: breastfeeding and congestive heart failure. I have heard a cardiologist suggest that a recently delivered mother in CCU (Cardiac Care Unit) due to heart failure not breastfeed. He was very apologetic when he made the recommedation. However, most, if not all, the other studies I have seen have touted the benefits of breastfeeding.
