I would think that the first question to ask is whether the specific
species (and strains thereof) of bacteria are (1) naturally found in the
bee gut, and (2) whether there is any hard evidence as to whether
introducing them is of any benefit whatsoever.

To date, the ONLY evidence I've seen favors one or more strains of L
kunkeii.
