>I'm not convinced that we Americans asked for sugar to be added to over
80% of our commercial food products.

Todd, the consumer can look at any food label and make his own choices.
The consumer willingly bought into the "fats are bad" nonsense, and
purchased sugar-loaded foods, with the resulting epidemic of obesity. When
decision making is left to the consumer, it is then subject to being driven
by both activism and advertizement (as opposed to good science), and
subject to the consequences.

>We clearly do not have all of the scientific data supporting the safe use
of Neonics. Would you agree with this statement? 25 years of neonic use and
we still don't know what long term effects they will have, nor can we agree
on what they are doing to our bees?

That is a specious statement. We also clearly do not have all the
scientific data supporting the safe use of sugar, salt, *any* medicine, any
common household chemical or food additive, or anything else.
