No noticeable effect, but I didn't have enough to make a large portion of
their diet.  They love wax moths too, but you have to break open the
cocoons to get them to eat them well.  Those are tough buggers to get out
and the chickens didn't seem to recognize the potential food inside.
 Didn't notice any effect on the eggs when they were eating carpenter ants
from wood I was splitting either.
