Keep in mind though,  in my opinion we are not seeing survivor local bees at
all.  What we are seeing is adaptations of swarmy bees that  using brood
breaks, manage to make it one year. Until the next swarms.   I hear stories
a lot of others,  but so far nothing but brood breaks has shown any promise
past 18 months.  

Interesting idea of less virulent mites.  Does that really apply to a blood
sucking leach??  My brain is saying its like a wolf, that's not as big... we
call them coyotes.  And there still devastating.....
