Our hospital would like to have all staff (nurses, doctors, residents, CNA's, etc) on the same page when it comes to caring for our breastfeeding moms. I am looking for suggestions for teaching programs, i.e., positions, what a correct latch looks like, how to hand express, how to pump for your NICU baby, etc. We are leaning toward self-paced online programs. It would be very hard to get everyone trained by coming in person for classes. It would be very hard to have the LC's be able to take the time needed to train everyone. It would just take too many hours. Ideas from others that have done this would be welcomed. I am so pleased how seriously our hospital takes breastfeeding, skin-to-skin, no separation. Even before it became a JC core measure. Thanks.
