For all the Hist Archers interested: I continued flipping through Page et als. "Homer Laughlin Decades of Dinnerware" and this fragment is part of the Republic piece types dating between 1917-1959 (pg 82; 90).

Subject: Need help to identify ceramic

I'm an undergrad doing a research project for my Historic Artifact Analysis class.  The ceramic I'm trying to identify appears to be improved whiteware with a shell edge and a transfer print under glaze.  The print is a sparrow (perhaps) and pink roses.  Can you please help me to identify the manufacturer or any other information would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you for your time.
