ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions. ***************************************************************************** http://www2.imperial.ac.uk/blog/videoarchive/2009/12/09/eric-laithwaite/ Here's a great set of videos by Professor E. Laithwaite made back in the 60's and 70's. One of the TI alumni, Zeke Kossover pointed it out in response to a query. They're all totally cool videos. Oddly enough, Audrey Mattlock, first woman in the machine shop, worked on a model of the MagLev train, a version of which is imaged in one of the film clips, Magnetic River. Laithwaite himself reminds me of a younger Frank Oppenheimer in spirit and intent. It's the video about nine figures down that prompted the initial discussion. Oh! So British.
