i inherited a few hives that had been treated twice yearly with antibiotics to suppress afb.  afb (confirmed by beltsville lab) did indeed break out in one of those hives after stopping the treatments, and it had to be burned.

search for photos and read all you can about diagnosing afb.  be prepared to burn if you find it.  in the meantime, i would advise against mixing any frames from these hives with each other or your other hives.
