Given all the things that we know affect a queen, teasing out some
effect of the moon would be well, er , ah, difficult.

Why on earth, or indeed moon, would it have any effect on bees?  It is
there all the time, just rising about an hour later each day, Why would
the amount of sunshine reflected from it, that we see from Earth be
significant?
