So, a woman who is going through a period of severe diarrhoea and no food intake might see her milk supply dipping, especially someone who is feeding twins and thus needing to provide a lot of milk anyway. I'm not saying this will necessarily happen, but I would be very surprised if there was no chance of it happening, so I think it makes sense to be prepared.
