The Api Life Var directions say : "Use in spring or in late summer/fall when bees are not producing surplus honey. Remove API LIFE VAR tablets from hive at least one month (30 days) prior to harvesting the honey to prevent contamination of the honey."" http://www.masterbeekeeper.org/pdf/apilifevar.pdf Then this one says: *WITHDRAWAL PERIOD: 0 DAYS* ORGANIC BEE-KEEPING Thanks to its natural and safe components, API LIFE VARŪ is certified, without any limitations, by the Regulations governing ORGANIC BEEKEEPING for the fight against Varroasis (Reg. 2092/91/EEC of 24th June 1991 and successive Modifications). http://www.modernbeekeeping.co.uk/graphics/cms/ALF%20INFO%20INGLESE.pdf So I am confused. I do not use this product, it has a really strong smell. To have a clear understanding of this for the customers at the bee supply shop is it don't put supers on until 30 days after removing the treatment or put supers on but do not harvest for 30 days? Or eat your honey right away? I read it as do not put supers on until 30 days after using the product, but I am bias because I hate the smell of the stuff. Other are reading it as do not harvest the honey until 30 days has gone by. The one that says 0 withdrawal is not USA.
