If you go to BFUSA's website there is a curriculum of what must be taught in the 15 hours of class. We put it on powerpoint and offer the 2 day class over 2 consecutive mondays every 6 months. There are also online courses that qualify. We are currently researching one- JBLearning, that staff can be assigned as part of the orientation. Then they have 5 hours of working with one of our lactation consultants and validating skills. Yearly everyone gets a new competency to work on as part of what they must be signed off on in order to be evaluated. Our Dr. do the Univ of Va. online training (free CME's)

But there are many ways of doing it. Hopefully others will chime in on what they've done.
