Funny you should ask - we were all just discussing this on here a few 
weeks back!  I can't remember the dates - maybe someone will know how to 
find it in the archives.

The conclusion was that, yes, you might well find traces of honey in the 
bees wax but the process used to make it into ointment (which involves 
prolonged heating) would *probably* kill off any toxin, but I don't 
think anyone felt able to guarantee this.
