Laurie, I always learn from your posts. The "to discouraged" posts on Saturday was one of the most practical examples I've ever seen of how to effect change. It's so hard to not get caught in what feels like (and is) the hierarchical messes our hospitals sometimes become. We need to come from an internal position of strength and confidence in who we are and what we know, and have those interpersonal skills to figure out how to approach our colleagues (?) about how to get better results for mom and baby. Thank you, thank you!!
