I am adding another bee dieoff
to my list of bee moralities in
the Historical Honeybee Articles:
Files > 13) Bee Mortality & Hardship

Seeking information about the
massive dieoff of honey bee
colonies in South Africa, which
occurred after Cape Bees were
introduced to the northern part
of South Africa.

I have the year 1996 as one of
severe bee mortality and 1990
as the year Cape bees were
brought north, but I need to
verify, and find good reference
to this information and other
related facts.

Also, it would be interesting to
know when it was first discovered
Cape bees were causing this
dieoff.

Thanks in Advance!

Best Wishes
