What??? A tummy tuck 3mths pp???? Did I read this right? In a message dated 3/2/2011 4:39:09 P.M. Central Standard Time, [log in to unmask] writes: We used to reccomend this pump/Lansinoh, until several Mothers told us that they had experienced problems, loud motor, motor breaking down after a few months and plastic parts breaking. Received a call on our Warm Line today, a Mom having a tummy tuck and the Plastic surgeon told her to stop nursing her 3 month old, because nursing would 1)increase mom's blood clot risk and 2)drain nutrients from the Mom and make her healing process slower...Honestly, is this the 2011 or have I time travelled back into 16TH Century England medicine where things like blood letting were common practive, even though it killed most of the patients? I encouraged the Mother to give this surgeon our # so we could educate him.
