I agree with everything Jodine said. Many years ago I was told the  reason  
the WIC program in the US could not pay for Human milk from a  milk bank is 
 
because it was "not regulated". Although the HMBANA has  regulations, 
apparently  a government agency has to regulate it for  another government 
agency to 
approve  it as a food. Sounds ridiculous  to me, as human milk is a food 
for 
humans. But  who knows. If this is a  step toward approval, then I believe 
we need to do all  we can to  achieve this goal. This is number one on my 
"bucket list" , have the   WIC program pay for human milk for human babies.
