Dear Lactnetters, I received a call, this mom has been nursing a 13 month old. Has been getting plugged ducts on the slower producing side. Vary in whereabouts on the breast. Usually resolve. Has later been having shooting pains not always connected with feedings. States that it feels like a muscle spasm. When it is during a feeding the nipple can blanche but not the entire nipple maybe the tip. We live in the north and our weather has changed to be from high 30's to lower 50's in temp. She has no other s/s of rhynards/ This has been more recent not anytime earlier in this nursing experience. Baby nurses four times a day eating other solids. Please feel free to email me off list.
