The low pH sugars developed HMF quickly in warm weather, but that is not a wintering problem for you. I doubt that they will be naming manufacturers. In Calif, the 50:50 HFCS:sucrose mix is very popular. Runs 11 lbs per gallon. Can't remember solids exactly, but over 70% as I recall.
