few of them rebel because when these were introduced they were cheaper and they did raise the yeild some but now they have slowly increased the price to the point where the cost of these seeds have slowly reached the point of diminishing returns, but most of the old cultivars they would go back to  are not sold or the company that sells them have gone bankrupt and they can not  go back and get them now.
