Maybe with those Louisiana bees, but not here. We have winter and 
bees stressed by TM in the winter are dead. Once i stopped buying 
bees from the south, and raising queens from the strongest colonies, 
TM became a minor pest.

Could it be that most commercially reared queens come from the south 
where they don't have much of a winter to help with selection. Will 
these colonies with 20% TM infestation die? They surely would here.
