I too used Linda Smith's book. I took the first exam and determined where the holes were in my knowledge. Studied up on nutrition (Lactnet seems to keep me current on clinicals) and took the second book exam. I think I remember taking the third exam a couple of weeks before I sat the exam itself. I always liked Kathy Auerbach's advice to let it all settle a bit and get some protein and a good night's sleep.
