If you use a queen excluder the supers will have nothing much to attract  
wax moths.  With old brood combs the moth is the beekeeper's friend!
 
One of out BKA members has a dedicated freezer in his garage/honey house  
and it is big enough to take a number of supers at a time.  When they have  
had a few days of freezing they are rotated out and placed in sealed plastic  
bags until needed.
