In this part of Australia, for around seven or eight months of every
year, I absolutely carry a water bottle! I've been caught short before
having forgotten my water bottle, and been quite dehydrated by the time
I've returned home or found water as little as an hour later. So I've
always provided a water bottle for my son, too, ever since he was old
enough to need water. And carrying one means I don't end up stuck for
water and buying some planet-destroying plastic-bottled "spring water"
rubbish from a Coca Cola Amatil subsidiary.

I think this might be one of those The World Is A Very Big Place
things...
