The Preservation of Antibiotics for Medical Treatment Act, introduced last week in both the 
House and Senate, would phase out "nontherapeutic" uses of antibiotics over two years, 
including applications aimed at "growth promotion, feed efficiency, weight gain, routine 
disease prevention, or other routine purpose" other than treating sick animals.


I see no reason why this will not apply to beekeepers using TM or Tylosin "preventatively".
