Hi all -
I came back to the unit after a month away to find several babies being supplemented with AIM for low bs. We don't routinely test. These babies were in legit risk groups. But their sugars were in the forties. I was told that this is new and statewide (CT). fifty is the new cutoff. Who can tell me anything about this? It has something to do with the new infant transitioning curriculum nursing staff took called STABLE. Thank you
Kristen Panzer MS IBCLC
